I say that because most of these" head gasket problems" are on heads that have a bunch of miles, and have been running hot a long time. Now, often someone replaces head gaskets, and there are other cooling problems that are not taken care of such as bad thermoswitch, bad resistor to kick on the fan, etc...........................then guess what? As is the case with this van that is for sale. It has a history of cooling problems. So much so, that the owner is literally throwing in the towel and is tired of throwing money at it. For my money, unless i know the quality of the engine, i would trather pull it and rebuild it then just do the heads. Not that much money, and i know it is good............
