I hoisted Billy Bones' main-sail this afternoon and headed down I-35 to Dallas, went to REI, spent my small dividend, and returned to OKC. That's just under 400 miles, and Billy Bones performed flawlessly. I drove between 55 and 70 mph (varied the speed during this break-in period) and got 17.7 mpg. I hope the mileage improves as the break-in period passes, but for now I'm very happy that the van is running good. Heck, it's not running good, it's running great! And that Sirius satellite radio is fine! Hope you all have a good evening. Warren Lail 88 Westy "Billy Bones" (we've signed Articles) 87 GL "Long John" (in dry dock, temporarily) |
