If the wire or the switch is bad, the central locks will still function normally from any other switch because the vacuum pump still works. 2nd try here.. '90 GL w/ power locks. problem: yes i CAN unlock all doors (including drivers door) from RF door, but CAN'T unlock all doors from drivers door. when i put the key in the RF (pass) door, and turn, i hear the actuator whirring noise, and the central power lock actuators lock and unlock all the doors/hatch fine, including the drivers door. but when i put the key in the drivers doorlock and turn - nothing happens other than the drivers lock opening.. none of the other doors/hatch opens - no whirring noise. so why can i operate all the locks from the front pass door, but not the drivers door? bad drivers doorlock actuator? any ideas? if it is indeed a bad drivers actuator, then why does it open from the RF pass door? chris |
