The ability of a vehicle's steering to return to center, is controlled by toe-in and influenced by the camber/caster of the front wheels.

However, (as I remember), the toe-in setting that is important, is the toe-in when the wheel's are turned, not when they are straight. I forget how that toe-in is adjusted....
