T1 & T2 are a bit of a misnomer, as the Bay is merely a modified Split... as can readily be seen in Brasil, where in the 80s they made T1s with T2 cabs... these were sold in NZ, and suffered from rust.

All are of course Transporters (which is what the T stands for).

Funny, in my poor days I considered buying a T2 rear section to attach a Split front to. The body cross-section is identical, needless to say, though roof profiles differ.
