Ha !  You like this one.  Genuine  Volkswagen PITA.  I spent a lot of time
fighting that one.  After I  got done I think it would have been easier to drop
the gas tank !  I think  I ended up having success with a very long pry bar.
Then to squeeze the  clip over the new cable I used some sort of pliers that I
wiggled up in  there.  Again, this is a MAJOR PITA for no reason.
