Also, ebay does give sellers the option of making their feedback profile 'private', so no one can view the individual feedback comments, only the aggregate totals. If you run into a seller who has done this, run away. You don't want to deal with them. The one and only time I've gotten ripped off, it was by a seller with a 'private' feedback rating.
