Competition Engineering (near Priest and Southern) is probably the best, but their prices reflect it. Bugs and Bunnies? Out in Mesa I've used before and are a little cheaper, but do good work.

Looking for recommendations for a good repair shop in the Phoenix metro area.

Haven't owned a VW in a long time, (only domestic chevy, jeep, dodge) used to do a fair bit with Type 1 engines (bugs) in high school and college.

So, I'm just getting back into it with a (new to me at least..) 1990 syncro westy!

Memchanically it's in really, really good shape but I'm just hedging my bets here and seeing what folks on the list have to say.

TIA

-tim
