Thanks to the two helpful replies I just received, the faceplate is off. But now I know why there's no light. There's no fixture.

It may be pushed down with the wiring behind and under the lever assembly, but now it's too dark to mess with.

If anyone can tell me what the fixture looks like, what color the wire is, and what kind of bulb it takes, I would appreciate it.

Also, in case it's just plain missing, what do I look for to replace it?
