and I'd say they are so well built that they are heavy. They make the van ride noticeably different and I like it. I could carry the front one by myself up/down pretty steep stairs where I live but they are a load, I'm guessing 75 lbs or so for the front and 60 for the rear. just my guess. John suggested the front receiver, said he had one coming after I'd ordered the front without, but decided it would be a good investment to have. All kinds of use possibilities.
