The only time I've heard of this problem is when it has been a driver error. Do you slip the clutch much? As the clutch slips it gets hot. This is the last thing you want to do. An over heated clutch gets gummy, and will burn more, if more power is applied, or it will chatter. Try engaging the clutch with very little gas. Get the peddle out with as little slipage as possible. This will make the clutch last forever. Mine do.
