when i saw this post awhile back i thought it was chet. chet still does
the shows selling new and used vw parts. he is in the works of building
a monster pole barn to go next to his very large pole barns. hes got
more vw stuff then most dealers. a friend of mine a few months back
purchased a NOS Ghia Pan for his 67 ghia vert build up. i did say NOS
stickers and tags intact. its presently stored in my pole barn while he
collects up more parts for the rolling chassis. chet has even dynoed a
few of my motors and misc. machine work. he is a bit eccentric but
thats part of the fun. he is trying to sell off some stuff but he know
full well what its worth. but if you cant find it contact him he just
may have a crate or box full of them. last time i knew he had most of
his parts put on his computer to keep track of what hes got. the turbo
was way cool and fast as hell. bit scary and he blew the 1st motor
being cockey. then he decided that gauges are a good thing. just my 2
cents c-ya Jonce
