Another Sirius satellite radio offer. I don't know any specifics about this one other than what is posted below. I found the info below on a Sirius-related newsgroup. You will probably get your choice of a free home or car docking station with this deal. It would cost you $150 at Best Buy or Circuit City, if you want to check one out there first. You can use the Audiovox unit in a separate boombox as well as the home and car. The Kenwood one doesn't have a boombox available but does have home and car docking stations. Several listmembers including myself have taken advantage of free Sirius satellite radio offers in the past. They are not supposed to be public knowledge, but someone from the target group (Ford employees in this case) always seems to post it somewhere and the word gets out. Every listmember that I heard from seems to be really pleased with the equipment and service. The "catch" to the deal is you probably have to sign up for one year's subscription. If you want to find out more about this, search for Sirius in the vanagon archives or go to www.sirius.com and you will find out all you need to know and then some.
Details on the offer are below:
"NOT FREE......BUT CLOSE.......
ACT NOW....CALL 1-888-601-6282.......
Let the SIRIUS rep. know you are calling as part EXCLUSIVE FREINDS & FAMILY PROGRAM
the promotional code is #147.FORD MOTOR
employee friends and family..........
50 BUCKS GET YOU AN AUDIOVOX PNP2
OR KENWOOD PNP.........
remember the audiovox has boombox available.....
supplies are limited and orders must be placed by
May 31, 2004..........while supply lasts............
you have to be a friend / employee of FORD CO..
and Im sure we all are one or the other............."
All you have to do is tell them your brother or another family member else works at the local Ford dealership if they bother to ask about how you heard about it.
I'll leave it up to other listmembers to comment on their previous experience with other similar free Sirius radio offers if they so desire.
