Subject: classic auto insurance loop to save cash
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"
hi all
i got my last bill in for Hagerty classic auto insurance for all 5 of
my classic german metal and the price had gone up like 400 bones. so
now i pay about 885.00 for a year of full coverage. wife not to happy
on the change. but what can i do sell some vws, heck no. so i called up
my friendly insurance rep and asked how could i possibly lower my
insurance and still have great "cheap" insurance with the same coverage
or maybe a bit less on something. so she pulled up my account and told
me that i was paying 100.00 for each pc of german metal to the state of
michigan for there Michigan Catastrophic claims per car. so i asked how
can i get around that. so she explained if i had original year plates
or antique historical vehicle plates that i would only need to pay
20.00 per vehicle. so 5 vehicles at 80.00 bones saved each is approx
400.00 bones. (or 200 gallons of gas). so i told her to hook me up. so
she said she would change my policy since i have original year plates
on all 5 of my vws/ porsche now. so i will be getting a check back in
the mail. if anyone else is having this problem just call and see how
to get around. also haggerty will insure a vehicle of 20 years of age
but in michigan you need to pay the 100.00 MI catastrophic claims bill
until it reaches the ripe old age of 25 then you can get a original
year plate and drop it to 20.00 for the same thing. if you need to
contact Hagerty insurance its 1800-922-4050. ive had more in claims
then what ive paid in. but im breaking even next year. if you switch to
hagerty you owe me a 6 pack since your gonna save some funds and you
can dump your overpriced insurance co. there is also other companies
out there that are the same not just hagerty. ive just had great luck
with them and im not planning on changing. c-ya Jonce
