I drove around for a couple months wondering why my mirrors wouldn't
adjust right before discovering the PO had put them on the wrong sides.


They *almost* work that way.  It took seeing someone else's van, and then
noticing the water drain holes in my mirrors were on the *sides*, for the
light to go on.
