A couple of years ago, I order tail lights from BusDepot. The long and short of it, was that I wanted domestic style, and they kept sending european style (and neither of us realized there was a difference at the time). I thought they were defective, they insisted they weren't.

It wasn't until they got one out and started comparing them to a domestic one that they realized what I had noticed right away....European models don't have the extra chrome reflectors on the inside of the turn signal section of the tail light plastic. US style ones do.

it was a frustrating experience that could have been solved had they asked me for digital pictures. Just be happy in this case, they really are trying to reduce the back and forth aspect to your purchase.
