Subject: How to fit a yakima rack on a Westy?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I have a Yakima gutter mount rack and the hi-rise kit but when I tried to mount it, the angled towers hit the side of the near-vertical Westy top. But today I saw that exact arrangement on another Westy on the freeway, although I could not get close enough to see how it was mounted. Anyone have a clue? yes I know I could get the fake bolt-on gutters and drill holes in my pristine top but I would rather not do that. Please reply off list.

Thanks Bob Freeman Seattle.
