Hello list,

A friend of mine is looking to upgrade his subaru 2.5RS to a WRX engine.  If
he does this, he will be selling his existing 2.5L, and was wondering if
this engine is suitable for a transplant into a vanagon.  I looked around
briefly, but could only find conversions using the 2.2L subaru engine.

It is a low mileage (80 000 km) and high power engine - 160HP and 160 ft/lb.
