Bus Depot sells new tanks for $169. Do it once and get it over with. The only way to really clean these tanks is to cut it open, clean, rebuild the inlet screen and weld it back together. (was noisy fuel pump) Thanks to everyone for the feedback on the noisy fuel pump. I have installed a new fuel filter and no change. If there is junk in my fuel tank, can it not be removed and cleaned? Does it necessarily have to be replaced?
