The previous tennants in our apartment removed one of
the window panes to put in an airconditioner, so there
is a one inch gap between the remaining two. Since I
am not a fan of the 'mean and biting' ladybugs I trap
them in used baby food jars and let them die a slow
death before heading off to the landfill. This is not
the most eco-friendly solution, but it works for now.
I used a JC Whitney catalog to kill a large hairy
black spider that had taken up residence here... he
must have come in to dine on lady beetles. :)
I am working on a set of screens for my Vanagon. Ones
to go over the driver and passenger door windows.
Then one to go over the slider door opening... for
when it is open.

PS- I need to be careful of chemicals right now cause
of my 11 mo baby.
