Doug, I have a Red/White/Bluestar Brochure. It's all about marketing. We discussed this years before on the list. In the US, the Wolfsburg Edition was created to help boost lagging late (in the model year) sales. Perhaps this is the same thing that was done in Europe as well. I can only assume that the Wolfsfburg name does not carry the same cachet as Hannover in Germany. Or maybe the Hannover name just did not appeal to VW of USA Marketing folks.
