In the last couple of years I have sold 4 diesel Vanagons. 3 were to
folks planning to run them on biodiesel or used cooking oil. Every time
I have listed one for sale I have been inundated with inquiries. In some
cases bidding wars broke out with people offering more than I was asking
if I would just renege on a deal and sell to them instead. I would never
do such a thing but it shows that there is a real demand for diesel
Vanagons. As rare as most people think they are, my family still has 6,
a friend has one, a neighbor has another. 2 of my family owned ones have
1.9TD motors and those FLY!
There is a list just for diesel Vanagons on Yahoo.
