OK, my turn.
I remember the first time I saw a Diesel Westy. It was at a stoplight.
When the light turned green, I watched as it ran through first gear,
through second gear, and by the time he had third gear boiling, it had
gained enough speed so I could tell it was moving! Of course, by then it
was already halfway through the intersection...
One other question for Stan - is the neighbor's cat a diesel?
Ron
'86 Syncro Westy - not exactly a paragon of swift movement, itself!

I'm anxious to try that with some of the neighborhood cats.
I run the neighbors cat off my front porch chair but he always comes
back. I run him out of my driveway but he always comes back. I'm just
curious as to how I'll know when we've exhausted his eight life and we
can have some results.

When I was a kid my brother and I did the same thing with a frog (no hot
pan, though). Put it in the freezer overnight, thawed it out and away it
hopped. We didn't get to repeat the experiment because our mother saw
the second frog.
