I started going through the grounds on on my 86 vanagon last night. There are sooo many of them. One connecting to the top of the engine, is a braided copper affair. It has some fraying, but the contact points are all clean, under the hex head cap screws and metal surfaces. Do I need to replace the braided copper ground?

Also, is there a good list of all the ground locations for our vanagons somewhere? Thanks, Jeff Hartman 86 Vanagon 2.1 Juneau, Alaska
