I vary my speed till it takes me 1 minute (36 seconds) to go one mile post (km post). and then I know how far off my speedo is at 60 MPH (100 KPH). How far is "too far out of whack" is up to each of us. I had my speedo repaired by speedometer.com and asked that they re-calibrate it. I had to tell them that 100 KPH = 62.5 MPH. It came back a bit more accurate, but still not spot on. Tire wear makes a difference. Repair and calibrate was about $70 or $90 I can't remember. Malcolm
