My apologies for continuing this NVC thread but I need to correct an earlier factual error I made. Lest I lead anyone into temptation. It's NOT true that traffic entering the freeway (Calif.) has the right-of- way. The California 2004 Driver's Manual clearly states that freeway traffic has the RoW. This seems to contradict info I got from a CHP officer years ago ... but perhaps not. As is often the case, there are caveats. But I'll keep my promise & leave it at that. //Jack j56cook@pobox.com
