My local parts dealer just picked up the remaining sets of South African
steel wrap-around bumpers at the local importer. Installation is different but not
insurmountable.

I bought a pair to try on my Syncro plus a spare set just in case of a fender
bender. There are five other sets available for less than the price of
regular steel bumpers and much less than the price of one fiberglass bumper.

If you are in the SF Bay Area, I am happy to show you what they look like.
