Subject: Ahoy! Capt'n Billy Bones in Santa Fe
Content-type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Ahoy mates! That lubber Warren wasn't sure whether I was seaworthy, but I've hauled him to Santa Fe with nary a problem. That ungrateful scurvy dog, thinkin' I'd let 'im down.

Fifteen men on a dead man's chest and fifteen hundred miles on me new motor. Not a bad coincidence, eh maties? Ole Warren's a gonna change me oil today and put that fancy synthetic stuff in thar. More power to 'em.

Now we'es a supposed to meet Gnarlie here at this fancy bookshop what calls itself Borders, to talk a little Vanagon stuff and otherwise chew the fat like all good Vanagon people ought t' do.

So, I'll be reportin' back to you bilge rats later on, especially if'n I have some problems or such other luck. Have yerselves a good day, says I.

Capt'n Billy Bones Santa Fe, New Mexico
