Subject: Oil Leak Question
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed

I have a gasoline engine 87 Syncro, 1.9 engine, ~172K miles. AMC heads put on ~5K ago. I have had an oil leak that is now to the point I have to do something. The leak is coming from the back of the engine, just left of center line and drips down by the oil filter. The filter doesn't seem to leak but it appears to be coming from higher in the engine. The leak slows when the engine is heated up, I assume because of heat expansion. Anyone have any clues where to start? Thanks, Jon
