Tyler,

1) Remove the cargo carrier from the roof

2) Glue a piece of sheet metal (galvanized or painted - hidden rust is your enemy) to the UNDERSIDE (where it can't be seen) of the carrier, where you want to place the antenna (use tape to mount the plate first, to make sure you get enough "stick" from the magnet)

3) Replace the cargo carrier

Worked for a friend's CB antenna...
