I'm anxious to try that with some of the neighborhood cats. I run the neighbors cat off my front porch chair but he always comes back. I run him out of my driveway but he always comes back. I'm just curious as to how I'll know when we've exhausted his eight life and we can have some results.

When I was a kid my brother and I did the same thing with a frog (no hot pan, though). Put it in the freezer overnight, thawed it out and away it hopped. We didn't get to repeat the experiment because our mother saw the second frog.
