Subject: replace front seal with engine in

My '83.5 is leaking oil out the front seal, a steady dribble (seems to be more with the engine stopped). I have to take the auto-tranny out soon for rebuild anyway, but the engine is otherwise in prime shape, rebuilt to 2.1 from AVP a couple of years ago, so I would rather not pull it and all it's plumbing too. Is the front seal (flex plate and all) accessible enough to change with the AT and transfer case out of the way?
