It's not nearly as bad as they make it out to be. I have driven the Minneapoils to Florida route in my 85 several times, and have never had an issue. Except when the guys in the 3rd lane (way left) yelled at me (I was doing 70) in the right, "you have a flat tire!!" And I did, it was the one right under my butt. I was quite happy they yelled at me.

I was passing some sedans going up what is called "Lookout Mountain" in Tennessee (but isn't it's the one next to it), so 1.9s aren't that bad even in the mountains.
