Bentley calls for only 1 mm of free play for the pedal before it begins to push the piston of the clutch master cylinder.

A worn clutch will eventually not engage fully and will usually begin to slip in 4th gear on hills when the torque is the highest or on start of very steep hills from dead stop.

Clutch wear has absolutely no effect on clutch pedal free play to the clutch master cylinder located above the clutch pedal.

Unless I am missing something.

Doug
