You've just described the only type of highways we have in Alaska, except for the ones that are still dirt!

Yeah, I'm still waiting for that six lane freeway to be completed from Seattle to up your way, sit back, relax, turn on the cruise control.... Oh, that's take the ferry from Bellingham.... :)
