 i know a local guy who has his yard filled with A1/A2 golf/jetta diesels,
turbo diesels, and a 81 diesel vanagon.. all he drives are vw diesels..he is
a total diesel freak.. and he just recently acquired a '98 new beetle tdi..
so anyway i think there is a big diesel following
out there, they just appeal to a certain type of people..
