ALL Vanagons I have every seen have manual steering. Although you could use the rudder pedals from a Cesna, but then you have to move the throttle up to the board. But think of the room for gauges and stuff if the steering wheel were out of the way.... Early Vanagons have proper, bus-size steering wheels. Later Vanagons with power steering have little car-size steering wheels. Wimps.
