Just did a 7 hour high speed run in the Wifie Poo's Jetta VR6 Wagon (AT). What a hoot! Just a few notes: It cruises at 80 at 3150 RPM., with a lot of pedal left I must admit. The tach redlines at 6300 and the speedo goes to 160 (sure!) At 62 mph//100 km/m the tach is at 2500. The guys in the BMWs and Nippon rice burners just crank a second look when a family of five is tooling along with and passing 'em at autobahn speeds...in a VW wagon. I would love to try this combination of engine AND transmission in a Van. -- Stephen Chillicothe OH
