I'd like to change my vote and agree that it sounds more like air in the system as others have said, rahter than the problem I was having and mentioned in my earlier post. I had somehow forgotton you said you just replaced the expansion tank. Nice part is bleeding the system is cheaper than a radiator upgrade.
