Well Bob, I am also sorry that you are having trouble with Paypal -have you talked to Paypal first who is the only one you should be solving this through?

All you are going to get from the list is "Paypal sucks'

I don't need a warning- I use Paypal and it works fine. The day Paypal sucks for me is the day I'll have to turn to Paypal Sucks.Com for help.

Your problem is too complicated for us to solve -who's mistake ? Paypal's? the banks? Both?

There is a bank that deducts millions that you don't have as a way to get you to respond after all other methods of contact fail.

Has Paypal been trying to get your attention by doing the same? Just a thought. Maybe if you e-mail the list your current bank statements we can figure it out.

Good Luck

Sorry for bringing this to the list and taking up valuable archive space. I'm shooting up a warning flare. My paypal account has been double charged for 3 different "purchases" since April 1, 2004. When I brought this to their attention, they sent back a "form" response that was ignorant of the facts, saying that the service providers make payment/fund withdrawal requests and that is the only way funds are drawn on my bank account. My bank account, in fact, shows 2 separate withdrawals from Syncro.org, Frank Condelli, and Sky High Maps. None of them have "requested" double funds from me.

Apr. 7, 2004 Update To Frank Condelli Cleared Details -$25.00 USD $0.00 USD -$25.00 USD $0.00 USD Apr. 7, 2004 Update To Sky High Maps Cleared Details -$49.80 USD $0.00 USD -$49.80 USD $0.00 USD Apr. 6, 2004 Update To Syncro.org Cleared Details -$25.00 USD $0.00 USD -$25.00 USD $0.00 USD Apr. 4, 2004 Payment To Frank Condelli Cleared Details -$25.00 USD $0.00 USD -$25.00 USD $0.00 USD Apr. 4, 2004 Transfer From Bank Account Completed Details $25.00 USD $0.00 USD $25.00 USD $0.00 USD Apr. 2, 2004 Payment To Sky High Maps Cleared Details -$49.80 USD $0.00 USD -$49.80 USD $0.00 USD Apr. 2, 2004 Transfer From Bank Account Completed Details $49.80 USD $0.00 USD $49.80 USD $0.00 USD Apr. 1, 2004 Payment To Syncro.org Cleared Details -$25.00 USD $0.00 USD -$25.00 USD $0.00

I'll repeat, my bank account shows double charges for each of the above. Just FYI. Be careful.
