Subject: Trip Update - Matthew
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hope he doesn't mind :)

Matthew and son Dillon, came cruising thru Salt Lake this afternoon in their '86 Gold Syncro Westy. He busted an outside right front CV last night and pulled the axle in the motel parking lot in Boise. He called around 11 a.m. this morning with that news. John at Aircooled.net Inc. had both CV's and boots in stock here. I met Matthew and Dillon on the "front-porch" of the Chevron at 7200 S. 300 W. where Dillon was hauling and delivering rocks and boulders in his dump truck, while turning the heads of most of the patrons with his delight. I swapped lies with Matthew about our cool vans and delivered the CV's and he and his main man were on their way to NM. I think Matthew is planning on stopping at a friends south of Moab, who has a hand-press so he can install the CV's and boots. He was kind enough to loan me the interface cable so I can finally do something about running a vag com analyzer on my van to "set things right". Now, the lap top part of this :)
