Subject: hot brakes
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

hey all, i just got my syncro back from my mechanic. one thing i had him do was to adjust my brakes because i just put in new drums and front disks. i could not get them adjusted right so i had him do it. i drove home no problem, but today i smelled this kind of burning. it turns out the the drivers side rear brake was so hot that i could not even touch it and it smelled of burning. does this sound like he over adjusted them? can i just back off on that brake? is it possible any damage could have been done? i only drove maybe 5 miles on some back roads and a little off roading. the other brakes were cool to the touch but not that one. also, i can barely pull up on the e-brake, maybe on click and that is it. he may have adjusted that too much or could that be the prob? TIA jason 87 westy syncro
