Subject: stinky heater boxes
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

The heat system in my air cooled 82 puts out a lot of heat, but there is one problem, it stinks. The hot air that comes out stinks up my whole bus and gives me a heck of a headache. One of the heater boxes is pretty new. It stunk really bad when brand new, and after 9 months the smell has not completely gone away. The other heater box is original. It has definelty been fouled by its share of oil leaks, but I can't find a good way to clean it. I took it into two different machine shops who both refused to run them through their solvent boxes. There has gotta be a way to get rid of this horrible smell. Anybody have any good suggestions. Jake
