I did the GoJo soak and it worked. My hand cleaner was GoJo after all (I just did not bother to look at the label.) I did not know to NOT put water in the soak overnight bowl but the short pants came out pretty clean after I laundered them with other work related stuff-- still some lightly visible stains, but a successful rescue. Thanks for the tips. Incidentally I am glad I wore rubber gloves to do the CV grease fix. William
