I have the middle seat out of the back of the 84' Vanagon and I started thinking how cool it could be if I added a table and a sink-kinda convert this to some kind of weekender machine. I would prefer a setup that folds down to a bed. Is there an aftermarket backseat available that will let my 7 passenger van fold out to a continuous flat surface for sleeping? I would like to find a salvage vehicle (in my area) that I could dismantle. If all else fails I can build from scratch. If any pics or plans of the inside of your weekender are available please send them to me.
