Ditto for me. It's the only place I've found where they are in easy reach and are truly never in the way - and I have long legs. Just make sure to give them enough vertical clearance. Get a large fountain drink cup or the tallest thing you want to put in there and make sure it clears the dash overhang above before you mount the cup holder. Also make sure the shifter has enough clearance side to side, although normally it never gets forward that far. Hans 87 syncro
