Exhaust Stud length is 38 mm the correct bolts are 30 mm that might seem long but time after time I've had people strip new heads with shorter bolts until I started providing hardware to bolt the manifolds to the heads I put the studs on the ports for the #3 and #2 and bolts at the #1 and #4 you can mix and match with the 2.1and its a good Idea use them in combo to make it easier to hang the system but on the 1.9 you will not be able to remove the manifold if you use bolts on the #4 exhaust port the water pump will not let you back the manifold off the studs. The stud typically come out with the nut after a few years and as Martha would say that's a good thing I offer hardware kits with my rebuilt engines this is enough new hardware to keep you working on the installation and not making trips to the hardware store the price is $45 Bob Donalds http://www.bostonengine.com
