Subject: 1991 2.1L Wasserboxer engine for sale
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

$300 firm. From a 1991 automatic trans Carat. This engine ran well until I removed it 4/13/2004. No trauma to the van. Since I do not have complete records from birth till now, I must assume 159,000 miles. Engine will need overhauled, bad driveway manners: heads starting to leak, oil leakage from LH cylinder pushrods, no rod knocking, lifter noise, or exhaust gas in coolant, yet. Comes with A/C compressor, alternator, P/S pump, P/S hoses, and reservoir, (AFM and waterpump both replaced with new 2002) and airfilter housing. Comes with complete uncut fuel injection wiring harness, "D" model ECU unit, ISV and ISV control box.

This engine spent all of it's life in Oklahoma until 11/03, and light use since, so no rust on the intake runners (I live in PA so this is uncommon from my prior experience), and steel coolant return pipe to water pump on LH side is unrusted as well. Exhaust system (except for O2 sensor) downstream of the wye pipe and the engine bearer crossmember are not included; both exhaust manifolds upstream of the wye are in good reusable condition.

I live in Zelienople, Pennsylvania, 16063, and am offering this to listmembers first.

Hey, rebuild it, archive it, keep it as a spare. You will need to arrange shipping. I will discuss details of getting it to a shipper with serious buyers.

Dave Milo
