To pull the lock out, you will have to drill a small access hole in the housing to depress the spring retainer. Drill a 3/16" hole in line with the top of the keyway 1/2 inch back from the edge of the casting. drill carefully, as you only want to go through the first layer. If you examine the new lock, you'll see the 1/8" wide leaf spring that engages in a slot in the lock housing. After you drill the hole, depress the spring and slide the lock out. Easy to do.
