Thanks for the all of the suggestions. I'm still on the fence though. Yes, I agree that the van can swallow lots of gear, both inside, and in the luggage rack. However, I still have designs on a small trailer for luxuries on a longer (timewise) trip. Things like a 20lb propane tank, BBQ, giant cooler, bikes, firewood, folding picnic table, side tent etc etc. Almost all of the locally available small utility trailers have those miserable 8" rims/tires. This week's Canadian Tire Flyer has one on sale for $299 Canadian (regular price $349). Oh well...think about it some more I guess :) Tom
